The solid wood components of the Axel range are recycled from decommissioned Chinese Junks.
The Sassafras hardwood used in traditional Junk building has an individual identity and quality. After decades of exposure to the high seas and elements, these qualities are enhanced and enriched.
The interplay of the beautiful Sassafras wood and the metal creates a juxtaposition of interesting textures that become more distinctive over time.
